At least seven Boone County businesses found to be in violation of COVID-19 rules

Metropolis authorities discovered seven Boone County companies violated guidelines associated the county’s well being order.

Information obtained by ABC 17 Information from the town of Columbia’s Workplace of Neighborhood Providers present seven shops have been “in violation” of guidelines, however didn’t specify what that violation was. The seven shops embody:

Neighborhood Providers Supervisor Leigh Kottwitz stated these do not account for of the complaints the town has appeared into.

“Some complaints have been dealt with by the Well being Division, Police or Fireplace, some weren’t actionable and a few have been merely informational calls that we didn’t log,” Kottwitz stated.

Kottwitz stated not one of the circumstances have but been despatched to the town prosecutor. People who break a well being order may be charged with a category A misdemeanor.
