Alex Joseph, managing editor of Hue, FIT’s journal, will host Kamali for the one-hour dialog at 5:30 p.m. Joseph conducts interviews with a number of the faculty’s main alumni throughout a spread of industries.
A graduate of FIT with a level in illustration, Kamali has spent 53 years within the style trade and is thought for such improvements because the sleeping bag coat, parachute types, multistyle jersey attire, swimwear and metropolis sweats. The designer, who won the CFDA’s Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, was an early proponent of a wholesome life-style.
