Wendy’s pledges $500K donation to social justice


(CNN/Grey Information) – Wendy’s is responding after getting grilled on social media for a franchisee’s donation to President Donald Trump’s re-election marketing campaign.

Wendy’s tweeted it is dedicated to donating $500,000 to help social justice, the youth and training within the black neighborhood.

The primary contribution goes to the Thurgood Marshall Faculty Fund, which represents 300,000 college students at traditionally black schools and universities.

Wendy’s stated within the coming days it’s going to use its Twitter account to amplify black voices.

“As a result of what’s the purpose of this large platform if we don’t use it for what issues throughout occasions like these?” the put up stated.

The transfer by the burger chain adopted studies that James Bodenstedt, the CEO of Muy Corporations, donated practically $500,000 to Trump’s re-election.

Muy owns and operates 800 Wendy’s, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut areas throughout the USA.

Some folks had related the donation to Trump with the father or mother firm.
