ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man was arrested Thursday after he made posts to social media inciting looting and riots on the Orlando Premium Shops, in keeping with the Orlando Police Division.
On Could 31, OPD’s Gang Unit had been monitoring social media for “intelligence, particularly associated to publicly obtainable posts, which inspired, incited, organized, or marketed acts of violence and rioting contained in the Metropolis of Orlando,” in keeping with a report.

Officers stated they linked the put up to the Instagram account of Kelvin Williams III, 20, who was already identified to police as a member of an Orlando avenue gang.
Primarily based on the social media put up and officers’ believed credibility of the menace, a warrant was obtained for Williams’ arrest.
Williams was taken into custody Thursday and was charged with inciting riots. He’s being held on the Orange County Jail with out bond.
