Lee County, N.C. — Requested to reply to questions on current social media feedback, Lee County Commissioner Kirk Smith declined and deflected.

WRAL Information reached out to Smith after a number of folks shared feedback he made about race on Fb. Smith characterised these questions as “a concerted effort by the Progressives monitoring us, to silence my feedback on FaceBook.”
Smith is a daily participant on a Fb group referred to as North Carolina Reality Seekers / Previously Lee County Reality Seekers.
In his e mail to WRAL Information, Smith mentioned he “will personally reply to every certainly one of my constituents.” It is not clear whether or not these he clashed with on Fb are Lee County residents.
