LG Technology Ventures, LG Group’s corporate venture capital arm, has created a 400 billion won ($309 million) fund to continue backing global startups in the fields of artificial intelligence, batteries and mobility.
The fresh pool of money came from four LG Group units including LG Energy Solution Ltd. and LG Chem Ltd., bringing the firm’s total assets under management to 1 trillion won, the company said in a statement Sunday.
