Seymour
Brian S. Seymour, 54, Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, the son of Eugene and Virginia “Mickie” (Carland) Seymour.
Brian is survived by his parents; two brothers, Craig E. Seymour (fiancee, Judy) and Cory J. Seymour (Rhonda), all of Altoona; best friend, Cherie Brandt (Tom); niece, Brandi R. Rupert (fiance, Sam); nephew, Andrew R. Rupert (Emily); his dog, Rickie; and sons, Zachary A. Seymour (Addie) of Washington, D.C., and Derek J. Seymour (fiancee, Lauren) of Altoona; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tricia A. Rupert; and nephew, Brendan M. Seymour.
Brian was a graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Brian enjoyed coin collecting, painting and collecting crystals.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Lubomir Strecok officiating. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
