ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — The Rocky River Chamber of Commerce held its popular annual Business Expo Oct. 12 in the Umerly Center. The new chamber director, David Lipinsky, noted that there were close to 100 businesses exhibiting that day.
The businesses were diverse, from insurance and remodeling businesses to banks, restaurants and house cleaning services — and even the local library. All were looking for an opportunity to discuss their businesses with the hundreds of people who attend the expo.
A new addition were speakers addressing business owners. Four speakers covered business topics, and Lipinsky was proud to say the business owners filled the available seats.
“It was a full audience (for them),” he said.
Lipinsky is looking to find more resources, such as improved worker’s compensation for the 470 chamber members.
“And we want to grow that number,” he said.
The end of the COVID pandemic is helping most everything within the chamber.
“Since the pandemic, the businesses are getting to know each other again and how to build on what should be done within their businesses,” Lipinsky said.
